This section is dedicated to the old M.P.S. quarterly newsletter originally made for M.P.S. Members. The newsletter was in print for three years, from winter 1997 to early 2000. Later on, we made back issues available to anyone who wanted to purchase them.
For me.. it's pretty entertaining and quite nostalgic to read through these old newsletters. We knew so little about the M.U.S.C.L.E. toy line back in the 90s! All we really had was speculation and pooling of our acquired knowledge as our collector base steadily grew.
A HUGE thanks go out to Nathan Newell, M.P.S. Alumni and good friend who helped us recover the newsletter issues you see thus far. The master disc that held many of our oldest M.P.S. Archived material was damaged, and Nathan came through in a big way with scans of his original copies. Thank you so much Nathan, for helping us preserve this very important part of our history from the early days of the 90s M.U.S.C.L.E. Renaissance.

Issue #1 ~ pilot issue Winter 97/98
Only 4 pages. Not much content in this one, as it was my first attempt at publishing any type of newsletter and didn't have a very good computer program to work with. Features include: a write-up about M.U.S.C.L.E. #44, an article on getting M.U.S.C.L.E. re-released. A list of M.U.S.C.L.E. web sites (all seven of them back then) and a couple other features.
Issue #2 ~ spring 1998
Eight pages plus an insert. We talk discuss the outrageous prices of $1.00 per M.U.S.C.L.E. and $12.00 for 4-Packs! Features include: Article on M.U.S.C.L.E. #153 "The most intriguing M.U.S.C.L.E. of 1998". Tips on finding M.U.S.C.L.E., M.W.L. Highlights, fan mail, fan fiction (Timber's epic part1), M.U.S.C.L.E. Memories, Rubik Dude's Tales of Terror insert.
Issue #3 ~ Summer 1998
Eight pages. Features include: M.U.S.C.L.E. and Kinnikuman trivia, fan fiction - Timber's Epic part II, Bogus Bootlegs, M.U.S.C.L.E. products, current 1998 price guide, comics, stories and more.

Issue #5 ~ Winter 1998
Eight Pages. Features include: Thoughts and info on the "4-armed M.U.S.C.L.E. with a hole in his back" M.U.S.C.L.E. Memories, a Three Page Predator 2 Comic, two full page ads. One had info on how to order Kinnikuman cartoons, and the other promoted the 'M.U.S.C.L.E. Nitro' website, and M.U.S.C.L.E. Memories.
Issue #6 ~ Winter 98/99
Eight pages. Features include: Info and pics about the M.U.S.C.L.E. Quik Can. A 100 question M.U.S.C.L.E. Purity test that calculates how big of a M.U.S.C.L.E. Maniac you really are. Magical M.U.S.C.L.E. Secrets Revealed (How to dye your M.U.S.C.L.E.) Lots more artwork starts to appear in this Newsletter.
Issue #7 ~Spring 1999 ~ The Kinnikuman Issue
Eight Pages. Features include: Pics of various Kinnikuman items that we never got to enjoy in the states. A picture of a Kinkeshi 3-Pack Fully Translated into English. Various info, and accurate Japanese names given to M.U.S.C.L.E #'s 35, 39, 46, 60, and 219.
Issue #8 ~ Fall 1999
Eight Pages. Features include: M.P.S. Members Contest. New M.U.S.C.L.E. find. Pics from a Japanese movie that showed the main characters reading a Kinnikuman comic, and showed what they were looking at. Kinnikuman Second Generations pics from Japan, fan mail, full page MADBALLS Ad, M.U.S.C.L.E and celebrities that were separated at birth.
Issue #9 ~ Winter 99/00
Eight pages. Features include: Contest winner announced with his short article. Kinnikuman collecting info. Slik Slander M.P.S. Member and wrestler, Meet your fellow M.U.S.C.L.E. Heads, New Kinnikuman toy pics, Odd M.U.S.C.L.E. finds, In the spirit of the SURVIVOR TV show.. we talk about four M.U.S.C.L.E. that could save your life on a desert island, Army Ants, and fan mail.
